Between 10% and 20% of the malolactic fermentation is carried out in new French oak barrels with regular stirrings. It stays for 24 months if American and French oak barrels and ends by staying a final 3 months in French oak casks. It finally stays for a minimum of 12 months in bottles before its sale.
Although this is a typical reserve it also has modern aspects with more body and fruit than its brother the Solar de Líbano. The taste of oak remains in the background, well blended with the fruit. This wine is only prepared 7 years out of 10 on average.
